This Award is for any Aviation company or institution that is dedicated to providing ongoing training and career development to their staff. We are looking for companies that realise its people are their best investment. Each company or institution must submit evidence for the size and nature of the organisation where the work is carried out and its principal activities. Entry is by a 5 A4 page submission; the judges will be looking for clear information, backed up by evidence, that pays particular attention to the criteria listed below.
Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.
- Training Schemes or Apprenticeships: Detail what specific training schemes or apprenticeships you have enacted. What specific training instruments, technology or innovative educational approaches have you taken?
- Contribution of Training Initiatives: How have training initiatives contributed to positive business outcomes? Have the training schemes contributed to customer satisfaction, commercial growth and turnover, deals done, collaborations established, investments made, launch of product or expansion?
- Case Studies: Detail specific case studies showing staff promotion and educational progression.
- How is training supported at an organisational level?: Are there specific long term HR initiatives to support career development either within the company or at other academic institutions?
