Ryanair and Vodafone Ireland have signed a renewed nine-year contract, extending a technology partnership that dates back to 2001. The deal will support Ryanair's continued growth ambitions, including its target of carrying 300 million passengers a year by 2034, and strengthen its digital operations across Europe.

Ryanair Holdings is headquartered in Dublin and listed on Euronext Dublin and the London Stock Exchange. For the year ended 31 March 2025, the group reported revenue of 13.95 billion euros and net profit of 1.61 billion euros, and it has carried 214 million passengers over the past year across 35 countries.

Vodafone Ireland is headquartered in Dublin and forms part of Vodafone Group, which is headquartered in the UK and listed on the London Stock Exchange (ticker: VOD). Vodafone Ireland provides connectivity, cloud, security and managed services to business customers across Ireland.

Under the renewed agreement, Vodafone Ireland will continue supporting Ryanair across more than 400 locations in Europe, including its offices, hangars and training centres, connecting thousands of the airline's employees through a single managed framework covering telecommunications, cybersecurity and managed services.

The partnership supports thousands of connected devices across the airline, including around 26,000 handheld devices used by pilots, cabin crew, operations and engineering staff and ground personnel. These devices enable real-time access to flight information, crew communications, maintenance updates, operational reporting and passenger service tools.

For the sector, the renewal underscores the scale of technology infrastructure required to support pan-European airline operations as Ryanair pursues its long-term growth targets.
