Amber Dubey takes charge as CEO of aviation at Adani Airport Holdings

Amber Dubey has taken charge as Chief Executive Officer Aviation at Adani Airport Holdings, assuming responsibility for shaping and executing the group’s airport and aviation strategy amid rapid expansion across India.

In his new role, Dubey will oversee airport operations, capacity development, and strategic growth initiatives across Adani’s airport network. His mandate includes strengthening operational efficiency, building future-ready aviation infrastructure, and supporting long-term value creation across the aviation business.

Dubey brings extensive experience from both private and public sectors. Before joining Adani Airport Holdings, he was associated with McKinsey & Company as a Senior Advisor, supporting strategic initiatives across infrastructure and aviation. His professional journey also includes serving as Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India.

In addition, Dubey served as Acting Vice Chancellor of the Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University, where he contributed to policy development, institutional governance, and capacity building within the aviation education ecosystem. His work at the university focused on aligning academic frameworks with industry requirements.

Adani Airport Holdings is currently expanding its operations and infrastructure to meet growing demand in India’s aviation market. Dubey’s appointment positions the group to coordinate airport operations, oversee strategic projects, and align long-term planning with operational priorities across its network.

His combined experience in advisory, government, and education equips him to manage both operational and strategic challenges in a rapidly evolving aviation environment.

The CEO’s responsibilities will include coordinating airport operations, overseeing capital projects, and integrating long-term planning initiatives with operational priorities. By combining performance optimisation with strategic expansion, Dubey aims to enhance both service quality and network resilience across Adani’s portfolio.
