CAAP strengthens US ties to boost Philippine aviation standards

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has engaged with US industry leaders during the US-ASEAN Business Council’s 2025 Philippine Business Mission, aiming to advance aviation safety, security and operational efficiency.

The meeting, held in Pasay City, highlighted capacity-building and technology partnerships that could align Philippine aviation more closely with global best practices and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards. With 35 US firms participating, the discussions underscored opportunities for strategic cooperation in strengthening the country’s aviation framework.
