Signature Aviation expands private aviation services at Costa Rica’s Guanacaste Airport

Signature Aviation, the world’s largest private aviation terminal network, has announced the construction of a new General & Business Aviation Terminal (G&BAT) at Guanacaste Airport (LIR) in Liberia, Costa Rica.

The expansion marks a key step in the company’s Latin American growth strategy and strengthens high-end private aviation operations in the region.

The terminal will offer VIP amenities, sustainable design features, direct ramp access, private customs clearance, EV vehicle charging, and dedicated conference facilities. The project will be financed and built by Signature in partnership with local contractor Bambu Construction, and is scheduled to open in 2026.

Guanacaste Airport G&BAT will be operated by Signature in partnership with Aerologística, Costa Rica’s leading aviation ground handling provider, ensuring comprehensive support for business jets, cargo, and transport-category flights.
